Pantry, Laundry Room and Mudroom Storage

The hardest-working rooms in the house get the least planning. Custom pantry shelving, laundry room cabinets and mudroom storage from Wilmington Blinds & More give everyday things a place to go.

Pantries

A pantry works best when you can see what you have. Custom shelving puts everyday food at eye level and bulk items within reach.

  • Adjustable shelving so cans, cereal boxes and small appliances each get the right height
  • Pull-out baskets for produce, snacks or bags
  • Spice racks and wine storage
  • Finishes that hold up to daily use
  • Layouts for walk-in pantries and narrow reach-in cabinets

Laundry rooms

A laundry room needs places to sort, fold, hang and store. A few cabinets and a counter make it a work room instead of a pass-through.

  • Countertop space for folding and sorting
  • Overhead cabinets for detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Hanging rods for drying delicates and fresh shirts
  • Moisture-resistant finishes
  • Room for baskets or built-in hampers

Mudrooms and drop zones

The door you use most needs a landing spot. A mudroom unit gives each person a place for shoes, bags and jackets.

  • Built-in cubbies and hooks for jackets, bags and leashes
  • Shoe racks and benches for storage and seating
  • Durable, easy-to-clean materials for high-traffic areas
  • Layouts for a full room or a short wall by the garage door

Design and installation

How a storage project works

  1. Consultation

Start with a free consultation in your home, or visit the Hanover Center showroom first to see displays and finishes in person.

  2. Measure and plan

The space is measured and the designer talks through what you need to store and how you use the room.

  3. Design together

You work through the layout with the designer and choose colors, finishes and accessories that suit the room.

  4. Built to your measurements

The system is made to the specifications of your design rather than pulled from a one-size-fits-all kit.

  5. Professional installation

The installation team fits the system in your home. Ask about scheduling and preparation during your consultation.

Home storage questions

Can you organize a small reach-in pantry?

Yes. Pantries of any size can be planned, from a walk-in to a narrow cabinet. In a small pantry, adjustable shelves and pull-out baskets usually make the biggest difference.

Can I see laundry storage in person?

The Hanover Center showroom has a laundry display with cabinets above a washer and dryer. Stop by during showroom hours.

Should a mudroom have doors or open cubbies?

Most people use a mix. Open cubbies and hooks are fastest for daily items. Closed cabinets above keep seasonal gear and spare supplies out of sight.
